Ingredients:
- 1 box of your favorite cake mix
- 1/2 cup of frosting any flavor
- 1 package of candy melts assorted colors
- Lollipop sticks
- Sprinkles for decoration
Instructions:
As directed on the package, bake the cake
After allowing the cake to cool fully, finely crumble it into crumbs using a large bowl
To make the frosting resemble dough, add it to the cake crumbs and mix thoroughly
Roll tiny scoops of the mixture into balls the size of a pea
Put each cake ball on a baking sheet that has been lined and insert a lollipops stick into it
Melt the candy melts as directed on the package in a microwave-safe bowl
Let the excess candy drip off after completely covering each cake pop with melted candy
While the candy coating is still wet, decorate with sprinkles
To allow the cake pops to fully set, place them upright in a block of styrofoam
They are prepared for consumption as soon as the candy coating solidifies
